Exposing “I Take the Vow”

I have researched the Occult for about 25 years under all its different names, New Age Movement, New Thought, New Gospel, New Spirituality, Theosophy etc…and I feel that this is an important development.



There is a new movement just underway in its infancy called “I Take the Vow”, created by the Spiritual leader Deepak Chopra. At the time I wrote this article almost 13,000 people had taken the vow. http://itakethevow.com



It is a vow of nonviolence. How it is being presented is very beautiful, loving and peaceful. Who does not want a peaceful world? The problem lies in what they mean by peace and how they really plan to accomplish it. I take the vow website will not and does not tell you the whole story. You have to find out what the founders truly believe to get the whole story. You can find it in many writings of Deepak Chopra who is a New Age occultist, and those of his peers. They are networked together now through many various organizations. The peace they proclaim can only be achieved once there are no more believers in the God of Abraham, a God that is separate from ourselves. This is clearly stated by Barbara Marx Hubbard who holds the same beliefs and is also in the same organizations with Deepak Chopra and other New Age Occult leaders. I will give more details regarding that later. They are constantly stating that Religion is the primary cause of all the major wars on this planet. Therefore it must be done away with. It is old and out-dated and they say evil. Everyone that believes in the God of Abraham, and Jesus Christ as a personal Savior and do not accept that they are “god” will hold back the entire planet’s evolution. Therefore those persons have to join with them or be eliminated. We have to look into what they mean by non-violence. Nothing is always what it appears on the surface with the New Age/Occult.



When I saw this new site www.itakethevow.com in December my mind was flooded with all the research I have done on initiations. At face value this may appear sweet or simple, but don’t be fooled. It goes much deeper than what it appears. Remember Lucifer can appear as an Angel of Light.

“It all began November 7, 2008 when he took the vow personally.

I, Deepak Chopra, took a vow of non-violence in my thoughts, in my speech and in my actions. I, then, also had an opportunity to ask the almost 500 people attending the plenary session for the Alliance for a New Humanity in Barcelona if they would join me in this commitment.I first asked them to close their eyes, put their awareness in their hearts and ask themselves honestly and seriously if they were willing to take a vow.



I told them that a vow is a sacred commitment from which there is no going back. It is like a child that is born, who cannot return to the womb.



I told them if they were ready to take this vow, they should stand up.People stood up, one by one at first, then in groups of twos and threes, and finally in tidal waves, until more than 450 people had stood up and taken the vow.Following this, everybody agreed to have at least two people in their lives take the vow. The two in turn, would have two others join them in taking the vow.



Our immediate goal now is to get 100 Million people across the world to take this vow. In the meantime, we will be setting up ways to measure and support the dramatic effects this tidal wave of shift in consciousness is going to create.

Please note what he said. “I told them that a vow is a sacred commitment from which there is no going back. It is like a child that is born, who cannot return to the womb.” That is a strong statement. He has also called for missionary work! His goal is 100 million to take the vow. There is a reason for that number and I will go into that later.





The web site www.itakethevow.com was created around the beginning of December 2008. Within three weeks they had over 3000 persons who had pledged this vow. Now it is skyrocketing due to Deepak Chopra’s book tour. Where he is promoting his new novel called Jesus: A Story of Enlightenment and the “I take the vow” website.





This is an excerpt of the book I have found online. I can not verify the accuracy of this quote yet. I have ordered this book and will have my own quotes and opinions in later articles.



In the book:



Jesus' mysterious teacher tells him:



"Only someone who can see the demons as part of God is free. Good and evil dissolve. The veil drops away, and all you see is divine light - inside, outside, everywhere...Your soul is the world's soul. In your resurrection will be the resurrection of the world."



Demons are part of God! Good and evil don’t exist? You and the world’s souls are one? So you are one with the World! Through you the world is resurrected? Not through Jesus Christ but you? Because you are “Christ’.



The book describes a very different Jesus than the traditional Christians know. He is teaching occult ideas. Every review I have seen says clearly that this is a “new perspective” or idea of Jesus being taught not the traditional Jesus. It is not new, it is ancient. It is the teachings of the Occult that have been passed down through the ages. It is just being repackaged.



Deepak Chopra is a New Age/ New Spirituality/ Occult leader. He is called by the media and interviewers a Spiritual leader. Deepak Chopra was on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Tuesday January 6, 2009. He was promoting the “I take a vow” website and his new book on Jesus. It is a novel that fills in Jesus’ life during the missing years. Filling them with occult doctrines Jesus learned from Masters etc... The www.itakethevow.com numbers of people joining is growing fast. It started about the beginning of December. There were just over 3000 within 3 weeks of that date, then on 12/13/08 it hit 5253, after I saw the show I checked the number 9059 and within 24 hours it increase almost 2000 persons. It appears that going on Ellen was quite successful. That is its biggest jump during one day I have seen. Ellen put the link to www.itakethevow.com on her website and told everyone to check it out. So the numbers are increasing by the minute.





This is a stealthy way of preparing the world to take initiations. It is preparatory work for what is to come. When we have to accept or reject the mark of the beast. We are now more and more each day having to choose what side we are on; there is really no middle ground left anymore.

The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years. In 1952, on the Island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but found the dirt unpleasant. An 18 month old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in the salty ocean water, improving the taste of the potato. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates learned this trick and taught their mothers too. This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by numerous monkeys in the troop and observed by the scientists.Between 1952 and 1958, all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes and make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this cultural improvement. Other adult monkeys kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes. In autumn of 1958, something startling took place. A certain number of Koshima monkeys were already washing their sweet potatoes, the exact number is not known. The hypothetical number given was 99. Then it happened. Almost everyone in the tribe was washing their potatoes before eating them, but a surprising occurrence was observed by these scientists. The habit of washing the sweet potato had jumped overseas. Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop at Takaskiyama began washing their sweet potatoes.



Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of individuals knows a 'new way', it remains the conscious property of those individuals. However, when one more individual manifests this new awareness, the field is strengthened, a critical mass is reached, and the awareness becomes the conscious property of all. This new awareness is communicated mind to mind.

So in other words if “I Take the Vow” reaches Critical Mass the rest of the worlds humans will follow into the same Enlightenment or Awakening because all the rest will be transformed with them from mind to mind, telepathically. Therefore Awakening and changing the world. But there is a catch. Some are not “evolved” enough and will not join. And as Deepak said on a January MTV interview something to the effect “that it is the collective consciousness that causes bad things to happen, he even said that there are no victims…..”So that means those that do not choose the “new way” will be in the way, therefore causing negative things to happen. It will be like separating the wheat from the tares but in this case Christians will be considered the tares of this world.

”This vow is a foreshadowing of future ones we will see in a world-wide initiation. We have been told this by many different sources. In the Bible we read that you must take the mark of the beast if you want to buy or sell.



What Deepak neglects to say is if you don’t join that you could be holding them back, therefore it will be necessary to exterminate all those that are so selfish that they will not take the vow, for they will be holding back this beautiful peace that is to come, holding back the world’s evolution.



Futurist and Conscious Evolutionist Barbara Marx Hubbard states it pretty clearly in her book the Revelation: Our Crisis is a Birth. The book now can be found renamed the Revelation: A Message of Hope for the New Millennium. She explains a difference between oneness and separation. Oneness means being one with the world and with all mankind and accepting your own divinity. Separation is a false belief that you are separate from God. If you're one with the world you'll help guide the planet to this new evolution. But if you refuse to be one with the world you will be holding back the planet's evolution. If you don't see yourself as divine and you believe you are separate from God you are like a cancer cell on planet Earth that must be removed by what is called a “selection process”. This will be for all the self-centered separatists who believe they’re separate from God and she calls that belief evil. It is all those who believe in the God of Abraham which are Christians Jews and Moslems. If they are not willing to become one with the world they will have to be removed just like cancer is removed from the body because they will be hindering the evolution of the earth and of all humanity. The goal is world peace. If we as “Christs” can accomplish it we can avoid Armageddon.



The vow that causes this great polarization may not be this particular vow, lets hope not. There will be one in the future that will be the real deal.But this still is a significant step towards preparing the way. Though this particular vow may not be truly binding, in spite of Deepak’s own words they it is binding, it is at least a very strong foreshadowing of what is to come.



The Plan of the Occult has always included different stages of initiation. They have been doing this since Cain slew Abel. A Master teaches a student Secret Doctrines and they take secret vows or oaths. There are multiple levels of initiation. Initiates in Theosophy were sworn to secrecy till 1975 when they were allowed to teach openly to the public some of the secret doctrines. Prior to that they could only talk to other initiates about their occult knowledge. They recognized each other by code words that only initiates knew. That I have found works today also. I am able to recognize those that are occultists by the words or phrases they use.



Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, David Spangler and many others clearly state in their writings about the world-wide initiations that will come.



David Spangler was the co director of the Findhorn Foundation and is Founder-director of Lorian Association. He is a new-age occultist who actually states that there will be initiations into the new age and that they are Luciferic.



“I am prepared to accept my Christhood, my light, my gateway, my life, as being the doorway to the father, to the beloved, to God. No man may condemn me. I may go and sin the sin of inner separation no more, and free myself and Lucifer into the reality of the Christ and the wholeness of God, which is the essence of us both.”



“Lucifer comes to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it then he is free and we are free. That is the Luciferic Initiation. It is one that many people now, and in the days ahead, we’ll be facing, for is an initiation into the new age. It is an initiation of leaving the past and moving into the new, shedding our guilts and fears, our anxieties, our needs, our temptations and becoming whole and at peace because we have recognized our inner light and the light that unfolds us, the light of God.”



“In the new age consciousness there is not good and evil.



”Theosophist Helena Blavatsky is often called the mother of the New Age Movement. She had at one time a magazine called Lucifer and she talks throughout all her books about initiations.



Alice Bailey in her books discusses the different stages of initiations. When she first printed her books she named their publishing company “Lucifer Publishing Company”. By 1925 the name was changed to Lucis Publishing. “Lucifer” and “Lucis” come from the same word root, lucis being the Latin genitive case meaning of light. She talks about a new-age initiation in The Externalization of the Hierarchy on page 575

All the above authors and many others talk of initiations into a one world religion. All of the proponents of these initiations claim Peace. Through these initiations the world will once and finally become at peace under their “Christ” which they make very clear is not Jesus of Nazareth. He is the Christ that supposedly overshadowed Jesus of Nazareth. We would call him the anti-Christ.

As you can tell we hear many of the same terms and beliefs being used by other New-Age leaders Like Oprah Winfrey, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle. Books like “The Secret”, “The Power of Intention”, “The Law of Attraction”, and “Manifest Your Destiny”. David Spangler openly explains the principles found in these writings and credits them to Lucifer.



Eckart Tolle is connected with Findhorn foundation where David set up their spiritual education plan.

Deepak is not alone. "They say there is no sin, that there is no need for a Savior, That anyone that becomes Enlightened or Awakened comes to the understanding that they are “god’ that everything and everyone is “god”, but the ones that will hold back this Utopia are the selfish self-centered people that believe in a God separate from themselves, the God of Abraham.



They call good evil and evil good.



Barbara Marx Hubbard, Neal Donald Walsh, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay, and Wayne Dyer are just some of the Spiritual leaders expressing these ideas today, many of which are being highly promoted by Oprah. Oprah is not a Christian, but rather a full-blown Occultist. I have researched her progression into this occult movement and she is now involved full force and feels she is on a mission. If you have not heard yet she now owns a network where all of these New Age leaders will be given more time 24-7 to share their “truths” with the world. The network is called OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. It used to be one of the discovery networks. She has full creative control. I can only imagine what that will be like. Considering her working with Marianne Williamson to promote “The Course in Miracles” on radio, and Eckhart Tolle’s lessons on the internet of how to create a New Earth she will expand that on this station.



If you know all the players you start to get the big picture of what is happening. They all promote the notion that each of us is ‘god”, the principle of reincarnation, and the “truth” that there is no sin, therefore no need for a savior, or repentance. The only evil is not to recognize your own divinity and everyone else’s.

"We are told by the teachers of the New Age that we are “gods” not even tying to use the idea it is by being righteous, but just because we are. When you Awaken this is the knowledge you gain that you are “god”



.That is what all the self-empowerment mumbo-jumbo is about. The power is in you because you are “god”.



As they are teaching, if we all take a vow and live by it we will collectively transform the world because we are “gods”.

I saw a comment from a girl who took the vow, who was exited that this meant no more abortions. It only will mean what the Occult leaders say it means. They state the greatest evil is being a separatist, believing in the God of Abraham. So what really is violence to them? Most likely it will be what of Barbara Marx Hubbard said, that Christians are a cancer on the earth, which must be removed. Non-violence may have different meanings. We now know the Deepak Chopra says it means peace, but that a better definition is given by the Sanskrit word Ahimsa, which is ‘an active interaction with others and nature on the basis of the spiritual unity which connects us all.” “So nonviolence is not passive, but active in a nurturing way.” “Ahimsa describes behavior that respects and supports all who are involved.” “It assumes a universality the way that the greeting namaste recognizes that the divinity in others is the same as the divinity within us.”What does that mean?





What if you are not part of the “all who are involved”?



Wikipedia states that Ahimsa in Hindu scriptures and law books support the use of violence in self-defense against an armed attacker.[28] They make it clear that criminals are not protected by the rule of ahimsa.[29] They have no misgivings about the death penalty; their position is that evil-doers who deserve death should be killed, and that a king in particular is obliged to punish criminals and should not hesitate to kill them, even if they happen to be his own brothers and sons.[30]



So what happens if Christians make the list of evil doers?



Actually we already have…their hate for Traditional Christians is frightening. They believe the only sin is being a separatist and not excepting your own godhood, which notion is anathema to the beliefs of Christians, Muslims and Jews.

So if the Christian, Jews and Muslims are exterminated there is nothing wrong with it just like before…..





As you can see they twist meanings and definitions of words so this non-violence vow may be the very opposite of what it appears to be. As all other terms have change meanings under the occult don’t be surprised that it may be a different interpretation of it. It may be interpreted as eliminating those that are selfish separatists, that they deem violent, to save the rest of the truly non-violent people.





In the writings of Alice Bailey in the name of peace she wants all the world’s nuclear weapons gathered and given to the UN to be used against any nations or religious groups that will not go along with their peace plan of one-world government and one-world religion.





It is Lucifer’s peace plan people are vowing to, not Jesus Christ our Savior’s. Remember when Christ comes again it will not be in peace. His robe will be dipped in blood. He will come as a warrior in battle to destroy the wicked of the world. Then his reign of peace will begin.





So what does this vow really mean? What is hidden, that they are not telling us upfront?
